Appointment of Nigel Roskams to VP
A huge congratulations to Nigel Roskams, who became a VP at the AGM. Nigel was awarded this great WRFC honour for his many years of service as treasurer and for his occasional fantastic youth refereeing.
It is very hard being the treasurer of the rugby club and like all the volunteer positions, sometimes a thankless task. Nigel is also being awarded this honour on the account of his terrific refereeing in his younger days, that on more than a few occasions, allowed the game to terminate prematurely in a small brawl.
Nigel, thank you for all you have done and continue to do for our great club, I cannot think of a more deserving person to receive this token of gratitude from our club.
