We have purchased tickets and Lord willing will be home December 11th. We will be forever grateful for you for trusting us & giving us the opportunity to serve here in this way. There are now many people who are asking us when are we coming back and what will they do when we leave. Wendi has helped so many Korean missionaries become more fluent in English as well as tutoring some of struggling English Language learners. Bill has been wrapped up in things like, child safety inquiries, admissions chair (which includes testing all applying students & communicating with the families), recruiting, accreditation, volleyball, & drama, in addition to his role as the sole K -12 special educator on campus. As you knew and expected from us we have been faithful to the church here as well. Having the saints in our home, faithful in attendance, and Bill has had the privilege to preach as needed.
After we get home, Bill has been asked by the school to attend the Urbana Conference in St. Louis on the 27th of December. He will be working with our sending organization to recruit teachers for the school. Urbana2018 is a five day conference with approximately 16,000 attendees. Bill is pretty excited about this, the school just had the staff take personality tests and it proved that he is the most extroverted teacher here at FIA. Prayer requests
- One of our supporters, who greatly sacrificed for us to come here, has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. He is a husband, father and has been our friend for over two decades now. Please pray that our God intercedes in a powerful way, that he may be healed and God will get the glory!
- Please pray that the Lords will be done with our future here in Davao City. We have discussed options for coming back for shorter trips. But we are still waiting for an answer that we believe will be the Lords decision.
