September SGCI Webinar
Meaningful Metrics: Selecting the Right Ones for Your Gateway
Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at 1 pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. (Note that the webinar topic has been changed, and September's webinar will be at its usual time.)
Presented by Ann Zimmerman, Principal and Founder, Ann Zimmerman Consulting
Metrics are all the rage. Potential and current funders, advisory boards, review committees, and gateway users rely on them to assess the value and anticipated success of your gateway. This webinar will help you identify a reasonable number of the “right” metrics to measure your gateway’s progress and impact. Read the full abstract to find out what you’ll learn and what to think about before you attend.
Find upcoming descriptions and add the details to your calendar.
Previous webinar descriptions, slides, and video are available in our Webinar Archive.

SGCI Success Story: New Gateway Brings Advanced Computing Resources to the University of South Dakota
"For researchers and students on our campus, this gateway will build awareness and literacy of the concepts surrounding advanced computing while at the same time providing a platform for accelerated research.”
Doug Jennewein
Director of Research Computing in Information Technology Services
University of South Dakota
We recently published a story highlighting the work we completed at the University of South Dakota, where, until now, access to advanced digital resources and cyberinfrastructure has been limited. Read the story to find out how this engagement resulted in the development of the USD Gateway which, starting this fall, will begin to lower the barrier of entry for running complex scientific applications in a high performance computing (HPC) environment.
Curious about our other success stories? We've got a page for that!
