IT'S PUPPY SEASON & THEY NEED YOUR HELP
BARC team member Sandy and her assistant, Made, was made aware of a Western breed dog that was dumped and heavily pregnant. The dog, Coco Chanel, had alluded them for several days and only appeared after having given birth to her puppies looking weak and skinny. A search and rescue mission was set forth to locate the Coco Chanel's pups which were located under a rock off the side of the road.
Made rescued all four pups, Dior, Gucci, Tiffany, and Chloe together with Coco Chanel and brought them back to BARC. Since then, the family has been cleaned up and healthy but they need your support!
These little babies and their mom will soon be looking for forever homes! However, as a Western breed, they will require special care: no cages, no chains, no free roaming, in addition to daily grooming. Coco Chanel herself will require special patience to help keep her calm... she is a baby herself at just under 2 years old.
In the meantime, we would really appreciate your help to support and donate for their vaccinations and sterilization.
Please contact us HERE or reply to this email if you can help or know of someone!

MEET DR. KETUT - OUR VET
Dr. Ketut has been such an amazing support to BARC over the last five years, and what we do here wouldn’t be possible without him! On Mondays, Dr. Ketut works on our community sterilization program where he heads out to local communities on our behalf and opens up the BARC HQ clinic to the public.
Expats can book a sterilization for their Bali dog at our HQ clinic on Mondays at 3PM for an average donation amount of 400,000-500,000 IDR. This is about half of what it would cost at a regular vet, and this donation will also allow BARC to continue offering street sterilizations and carry on our vital work.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS!
Thank you so much to those who donated in July as part of our plea.
But... we're still in need of more dog bedding, blankets, tires, gas cooker, stereo system and rubber matting for the horses... And to make matters worse, we are still short on our August rent of $6000.
As a result, we're extending our plea to anyone who would support our mission and the animals on the streets and in our care.
A special SOS to supporters who work in hospitality or at a thrift store that may donate old blankets and to anyone in Perth. Lastly, any air hostesses or stewards that may be able to help us bring supplies, please contact us!
