We are thrilled to announce our next two Special Event Nights: UNCOMPRESSED未压缩 Vol.7 & 8 on August 24th and August 26th. We will present SUBHAZE : a pulsating and ethereal live audio-visual concert created by composer Ricardo Romaneiro and projection artist Christian Hannon (NON Visuals) with audio spatialization by Leo Leite. SUBHAZE explores jagged syncopated rhythms & sonic artifacts of light and time-stretched harmonies where performers are scattered in the installation and given instructions (data) to create improvisations based of the multi-channel electronic soundscape and immersive 3D projection mapped environment with visuals performed live. Featuring Vasko Duvoski (bass clarinet), Justin Abrams (cello), Manami Mizumoto (violin) and David Zisa (analog synth). This performance seeks to eclectically fuse art, music, technology, and dance. This season we will end the evening with a special immersive dance performance by Katherine Crocket.
Prelude to the program is Myth of an Atom (Full Band) : New York based duo, visual designer Christian Hannon and musician producer Fallen Atom. Eclectically fusing elements of hip hop, R&B, future bass, with fluid sound reactive imagery; this performance explores the nature of light, sound, and the cinematic experience. Featuring Avishai Rozen (drums) and Lex Sadler (synth bass).
