Tuesdays - New Bern - Couples Social Class
Our Tuesday Morning Couples Social Dance Group is open to all. Tuesday Mornings 11:45 AM to 1:15 PM. The format is loose, with a focus on fun figures in most of the dances.
Thursdays - New Bern - Ballroom Variations
Thursday mornings we hold our "Ballroom Variations" class. We go "outside the box" as we explore the many ballroom variation figures. This is open to, and fun for, all dancers.
Thursdays 11:30AM to 1 PM. This week we will play with Rumba.
Sunday - New Bern - Flash Mob
This Sunday, Aug. 26, in place of our normal dance technique workshop, we will have a 1 hour (mabe more) workshop for the USA Dance Flash Mob dance choreography.
Sundays - New Bern - Dance Technique Workshop
Our next Dance Regular Technique Workshop will be Sunday Sept 16. Open to all dancers - all levels. 2 to 4 PM in the Stanly Hall Ballroom. This is a great group class designed to improve your enjoyment of dance.
Sundays - New Bern - Flash Mob Dance Workshop
On Sundays that we have our dance technique workshops (see above) we are holding half hour workshops at about 4:15 PM to learn the USA Dance Flash Mob dance for 2018. Lots of fun. Everyone is welcome to join in.

Sept 21 -30 USA Dance National Ballroom Dance Week
Sept 22 - Friends of the Aging in Carteret County hosts their annual event at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City. The theme this year is "Golden Oldies" 40's USO "Salute to the Troops" $20pp includes dinner, (2 wine or beer tickets) and dancing. Dinner catered by Fat Boys. 6 to 10 PM.
This is a big event. We are scheduled to perform our Flash Mob dance here as well. We are trying to reserve tables so please let us know very soon if you wish to attend.
Sept 28 - Dinner Dance at MBCC Enjoy "Low Country Boil" featuring a variety of seafood gumbo style! (Chicken dinner will be provided for those allergic to shellfish)
Live Music for dancing and listening pleasure by Chuck Eatmon's 3 piece band until 9:30 pm! Libations begin at 5:30 pm - Dinner at 6 pm $22.50 PP - Cash Bar

Oct. 5-7 - Carolina Fall Classic Championships in Charlotte. A National Qualifying event.

Tuesday - every week is the Kinston Senior Dance at the Galaxy Sports complex in Kinston 7:00 to 10:00.Live Band. $8pp
Friday - This Friday Rivertowne Ballroom will hold their Luau Theme guest party and showcase. With performances and open dancing. 7 to 10 PM in the Stanly Hall Ballroom. $10 in advance $15 at the door. (We are unable to make this as we will be training with our coaches this weekend)
Saturday - has the County Opry Western dance with live music. 7:30 to 10:30 PM $10pp
