Barrie Fibre Spirit
 There's a brand new Fibre Festial on the block, and it's being held in Barrie, Ontario! In its inaugural year, this festival is going to feature all of your favourite local hand-dyers, LYSes and more. We've got a double booth there, so if you decide to visit, come check it out - we'll have two brand new batches of Mineville Sportweight yarn on display!
Details: August 25th at the Barrie Curling Club in Barrie. Tickets are $6 at the door, or $5 in advance on Eventbrite.
However, this means Kniterary will be CLOSED on Saturday, so please be sure to visit us for all your staple supplies before then!

Downtown Cobourg Artwalk & Pub Crawl
If you find yourself truly stuck, or are heading out east rather than north this weekend, visit our shop in downtown Cobourg as the DBIA hosts our annual Artwalk this weekend! We've got two in-house artists on display at Artisanthropy (79C King St W) already, and a third will be in our windows for this weekend's event. We're also hosting felting and weaving demos / learn-tos on Second Street by our very own in-house fibre artist, Cindy. Join Flo Flory and learn bead knitting techniques that will take your knitting to the next level! You will work with larger yarn and beads to help you see better, and you can then go and apply the techniques to finer materials.
