It's September already--crazy, huh? Last week, my daughter turned 29-years-old. This week, we're celebrating my mother's 84th birthday. Special moments. I hope you all created great summer memories.
During August, I had two highlights on the same weekend, two cities apart.

First, I felt like Hollywood I had arrived in K.C., as I was honored to be among invited authors for Mid-Continent Library's inaugural Romance Genre Con. Those librarians know how to put on a shindig from the panels to a hat party to the book signing. It was a fabulous affair. Kansas City ROCKED, I'll even cheer for the Royals. :) Nah, Go Cards!
On Saturday, three hours down I-70 in St. Louis, my husband was enjoying our annual family reunion. This year's theme was "Back to Our Roots (Africa)."  Cousins seemed to takeover FaceBook, posting pictures of family members dressed in their African garb. The photos were so engaging, it was breath-taking. I felt like I was in two places at the same time. The night was marvelous! In other exciting crazy news, I'm planning to attend my grade school reunion this weekend!  Not my high school or college, but grade school! I'm sure there will be some "wow" moments. Can you pick me out from this the lineup?

On the surface, Brecee Carmen has nothing in common with Adrian Cole.
