August 21st is the new release date for the book Nutrition and Integrative Medicine, a Primer for Clinicians. This is a medical textbook to which I have contributed the chapter on the use of nutrition to treat a number of chronic diseases. The chapter looks, in detail, at the researches of Dr. Ornish, Dr. Esselstyn and other pioneering physicians who have studied the use of nutrition (including fasting) as primary treatment for heart, metabolic and autoimmune diseases (including MS). These researches had impressive results. For a long time I have been hoping that this information will reach working doctors, and will influence our medical culture. That is why I was so happy when I was asked to contribute a chapter, and even happier to see that it will soon be in print. Here is the link.
Researchers and those interested in using the book for teaching can request an electronic copy of the book directly through the publisher, CRC Press.
There is an upgrade to my website so that if you go into the "Recommended resources" tab, you will find learning materials that can be ordered directly through the website. I have chosen only the most reliable materials, which are all in the English language.
