2018 Summit: The State of Engagement in Higher Education
November 1, 2018 from 11am - 3pm
hosted at the University of Denver
Graduate School of Social Work, Craig Community Room
Campus Compact of the Mountain West and the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation invite you to a regional conversation to build higher education engagement across institution types, geographic regions, and issue areas. As a compact of higher education institutions, we believe that, in partnership with our region’s diverse communities, we can--and must--improve civic health and equity across the Mountain West.
First, we must collectively consider some key questions: What is higher education's role in improving civic health and equity in the region? What are the national trends in higher education engagement and how do those translate to an agenda for sector-wide priorities across campuses and communities in Colorado and Wyoming? What does higher education engagement look like across diverse communities in the Mountain West? We invite you to lend your voice to this critical conversation.
The Summit will begin at 11am with a luncheon and keynote. Please join us to explore these questions, forging an engagement strategy from across higher education institutions to regional challenges by leveraging regional strengths and leadership. We look forward to being together in November.
