At our last Collective Gathering of the summer, we spent time immersing in Psalm 84. Dave reflected on his first first four years with us at Open Door, three themes that rose in the Listening Session earlier this month (scrappy, stirring, pace), and how we navigate crises and turning points in our world as a Jesus-looking people.

Open Door Kids is Hiring!

This summer, Emily Cheney has been serving as our Interim Director of Open Door Kids and will wrap up her time in the role in early September. We are now looking to hire our next Director of Open Door Kids!

We're looking to fill this 10-hour/week role with a dynamic leader who will champion the formative elements and environments of our ever-expanding Open Door Kids ministry!

Project Peace

Quarterly, we join Project Peace East Bay in their Day of Service which connects faith communities to service organizations in our area

On August 25, we invite Open Door to join one of two projects at local schools (both projects are family-friendly):
