ASSET STRATEGIES UPDATE

It's time again to submit your Capital Renewal Funding Applications!

AHMA's Capital Renewal Funding Application is to provide Housing Providers with the opportunity to apply for capital renewal funding that is not already included within their existing operating budgets.  To confirm eligibility for this funding, applicants are encouraged to refer to their existing operating agreements or contact their assigned AHMA Aboriginal Portfolio Advisor.

     1. Fill in AHMA CRF Application Form
     2. Gather back up documents
     3. Send applications (completed to the best of your ability).

Based on information provided, AHMA will have the ability to prioritize the request across the needs of our provincial community to ensure the most critical projects have priority access to available capital funding sources; such as modernization & improvements, energy grants, new provincial programs, etc.

Did you know... The CRF Application Form also includes areas where you can let us know how we can assist you with any Asset Management support services.

7th B.C. Radon Workshop

Radon is an ubiquitous, naturally occurring radioactive gas in open atmosphere that comes from the decay of uranium, which is distributed throughout soil and rocks.  Radon and its decay products are found in higher concentrations in confined space such as homes, buildings and underground work-spaces.  Radon is the leading cause of lunch cancer for non-smokers and the second leading cause after smoking.  Considering that radon is a public health problem, any actions plan activities need to be managed in coordination with the different sectors in society.
