Ray LaMontagne | Just Passing Through Saturday, October 6th, 8:00pm @ Merrill Auditorium Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne returns to the stage on his Just Passing Through acoustic tour, highlighting songs from his vast and varying body of work. Joining Ray on the tour will be John Stirratt from Wilco on bass. The two will be playing songs spanning across Ray’s albums including Trouble, Till The Sun Turns Black, Gossip in the Grain, God Willin’ & The Creek Don’t Rise, Supernova, Ouroboros, and Part Of The Light.

Shinagawa, Japan Basketball at the Portland Expo! Last week wrapped up four basketball games at the Expo with Portland's sister-city sports exchange team (Shinagawa), following Portland's visit to Japan last month. A team of girls ranging in age from 13-15 got to participate in this exciting adventure. This was the 34th year that Portland has participated in exchanges with Shinagawa and we're looking forward to many more!
Disney Junior Dance Party! Wednesday, September 19th, 6:00pm @ Merrill Auditorium Sing and dance along to Disney Junior’s greatest hits with your favorite characters. Kids of all ages and their families are all invited to the biggest dance party around. This dance party will feature live appearances by: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Vampirina, Elena of Avalor, Sofia the First, and Doc McStuffins!
Gaither Vocal Band Sunday, September 16th, 3:00pm @ Merrill Auditorium This Grammy award-winning gospel vocal group is comprised of five power-packed voices, including Bill Gaither, Wes Hampton, Adam Crabb, Todd Suttles and Reggie Smith. This is their first concert at Merrill Auditorium, but they are no strangers to Maine having played several successful concerts at Bangor and other venues.

Mermaid Theatre: "The Rainbow Fish" Saturday, October 6th, 11:00am @ Merrill Auditorium Recommended for ages three to seven, this puppetry production is a new adaptation of Marcus Pfizer’s award-winning books about the beautiful fish who learned to share his most prized possession. The Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia returns with two companion stories: Rainbow Fish Discovers the Deep Sea and Opposites. What a fun way to spend a Saturday morning with the kiddos!
Spotlight On:
Celebrating ten years of music at Merrill with their X Tour, these singers (Damian McGinty, Ryan Kelly, Michael O’Dwyer, Emmet Cahill & Neil Byrne) will perform many ensemble numbers, including "Sons of Light”, “Toora, Loora, Lay”, “The Wild Rover”.
