We went 3-for-3 at Week 4 of Tech Tuesdays at Panera, with everyone again leaving with digital apps installed and eBooks and eAudiobooks checked out! And, they had free drinks from Panera (thanks, Panera)!
***Now that the kiddos are back in school, take some time for you and join me tomorrow, Tuesday, August 28, 9-11 a.m., for the final Tech Tuesday at Panera Bread of Fox River Grove, 730 Northwest Highway, to get help using our digital resources like eBooks, eAudiobooks, the Library catalog, your Library account, registering a new library card, and even checking out Museum Passes! No registration required.


Renovation Update: Do I spy a new wall and a modernized elevator panel? Things are starting to fall into place! THANK YOU!!!! for all of your support and patience as we work to bring you a better-than-ever Fox River Grove Library.


Visit us at LionsFest 2018 on Saturday, September 8! Library staff, Board members, and the Friends of the Library will be selling ice cream and t-shirts. Visit the event site for details, and then come by to say hello - we miss you!


By popular demand: Running Club has expanded! In addition to Wednesday evening (6:15 pm) and Saturday morning (7 am) runs, there are also runs on Tuesday and Thursday mornings (both at 6:30 am)! We are still playing along with PBS's Great American Read during renovations! PBS viewers across the nation will vote for a favorite title out of 100 finalists. We want to know what FRG readers would choose, too! Find Your Next Great Read! We now offer custom book recommendations! Please complete this five-minute survey asking about your general reading preferences as well as what you're currently in the mood for. When we get your responses, a librarian on staff will create a list to help you choose your Next Great Read! Please note that this survey is designed for teen and adult Library patrons (ages 13 and over) and is for Fox River Grove Memorial Library cardholders only.
