LMC Family and Community Newsletter
August 27th - August 31st, 2018
  • Throughout the year, look here for shout outs and appreciations for our community members!  Or even better, send a shout out of your own to be published in the weekly newsletter.  Submit your shout out by emailing it to Kelly McGuire - kmcguire@lmc896.org

  • A shout out to Stephanie V. who has come into LMC a few times this summer to take care of PTA business.  It is so great to see you and your presence over the summer reminds us that the work of a busy PTA never ends!
  • A shout out to Steve S. for your constant support for LMC.  We are so grateful for all you do and we are fortunate to have gotten to know you and your sons over the years.
  • A shout out to Allison C. and Andrew F. for sending us your "Summer Homework for Parents."  Your note was fun to read and it helps us to know more about your child.
  • ....Parents of incoming 6th graders, be sure to complete YOUR summer assignment posted below.
This Week at LMC
  • Check out this retro staff photo from our annual cooking event at Miette Cooking School.  The owners of Miette are parents of LMC alum and always host a wonderful event to kick off the start of the school year for our teachers and staff before students arrive.  Lots of work to do, but first we must eat!
  • And Bruno, our LMC school comfort dog is barking at the opportunity to get back to school!  You can expect Bruno on Wednesday, September 5th!

Look to this section for a note from your LMC principal, Kelly McGuire, or LMC staff members. This week:
