Look at that perfect leaf will you? Just look at it! Very little makes me happier than a new anthurium leaf like that. Somehow I was able to protect it from rips, tears, and little invisible things with sharp teeth and bad attitudes that walk down the rows taking one bite out of each new unfurled leaf so that when it opens, it looks like it has 100 bites out of it. Gah!! So many things can go wrong with new leaves. Heat, cold, heavy rain, bugs, people who talk with their hands, the list is endless. That's why I appreciate every single perfect leaf when they happen.
Some plants seem so picky, you learn not to look directly at them ,and speak about them only in hushed tones so that the vibrations from your voice don't cause spontaneous death. I'm finally past thinking I can grow high elevation plants here in flaming hot South Florida, but every once in a while...one, well I wouldn't call it "grows", but it doesn't die right away so I'm counting that as a success. I can grow them in the winter, so I try to view some of these uber tough plants as cut flowers...temporary and to be enjoyed while they grow..er don't die.

Anthurium 'Ace of Spades'
This is a hybrid that came out of Hawaii many years ago. While no one seems to be sure of the parentage, the one thing everyone agrees on is that this is absolutely one of the most spectacular dark velvet anthuriums. Its black velvety, heart-shaped leaves are so dark that they appear translucent...More

Asplenium 'Cobra'
Really really cool birdsnest fern with stiff rippled leaves. Dubbed "Cobra", it's easy to see why. I'd been after this fern for a long time and finally found a couple a few years back. Now that we have been able to propagate it, we have a couple to share. This easy to grow fern likes shade and humidity, and would...More

Calathea 'Peacock'
This is one off the most striking calatheas we grow. I only have a few of these and once they're gone, they're gone. Baby pink flowers highlight the oval streaked foliage and make this plant a real winner. Easy to grow and a beautiful addition to any collection. Plants in 5" pots and are about 12" tall...More

What our customers are saying

Wow! This is a hell of a plant! Great every time!! Thank you!

I've never received anything other than hardy, obviously well tended plants. The plants I ordered, and there have been many, are packed and shipped with love, lots of love. Buying tropicals from Enid has become a delightful habit as I experiment with creating a tropical garden around my koi pond down here in South Georgia. I wouldn't get my tropicals from any other place.

Another fabulous plant from nse, i cant get enough!! I mean what is there to say....the plants are flawless every time! Love nse!

Amazing thank you! I will order more next spring, my 'Florida ghost' arrived in perfect condition and was bigger than I expected! It has been repotted and the heat pack you sent is still warm. Thanks again!

Amazing! Totally hooked. Been ordering for 3 weeks now. Great selection. Healthy plants. Looking forward to third order. Enid is awesome. Very accommodating. Will continue to order as much as I can, I'm a new collector of philodendron. So happy I found you.

My 13th purchase from this seller & I am always 100% satisfied! eBay & plant pro

Enid has too many plants. A relocation plan should be developed.

After finding Enid and NSE i have not purchased plants elsewhere! She is always so helpful, and the plants, omg the plants!!! Every plant, every single one, no exaggerations, are complete perfect! I've never been displeased, ever. Enid always has the plants that are hard to find, some you cant find anywhere else! Go and order quick!

I mean what is there to say....the plants are flawless every time! Love NSE!
