From the Dock
Do you remember "Daniel Boone Days" at Camp Concordia? Families would make a day of service out of these days and assist in preparing the camp for summer - essentially "unpacking" it from the long winter.
Each year people share with me about their memories of those Daniel Boone days. They were children then.
You could have that fall experience of giving to Camp Concordia with your kids and allow them to extend their summer camp experience, retrace their excitement with you, when you sign your family up for the Fall Leaf Roundup.
All of Camp Concordia must be "packed" up for the winter. This means blowing out and winterizing plumbing, getting a bulk of the leaves off the ground so the grass on the fields will be ready in the spring, and getting storage set so cute little fuzzy animals don't hibernate in the equipment.
We invite your family to the first Saturday of November to create memories.
Dr. Craig "Doc" Oldenburg
Camp Director
PS...please remember to direct someone you know to serve on Camp Concordia's staff during the 2019 season.
