NIAGARA FALLS NIGHT OF ART
Poster for Niagara Falls Night of Art

It’s the biggest night of the year for the Niagara Falls arts and culture community. This free night includes live music, art installations created specifically for this show, dozens of artists and artisans selling handmade pieces, food trucks, alcohol, and much, much more.

Be a Part of our Community Art Project - Memoryal

Join video artist Dougie Hayz as he explores and documents the wide range of emotions expressed by humans.  Dougie’s objective is to: “find others who still believe in the emotional healing power drawn from the tangible. This quest involves documenting testimonials of those who might remember a loved one through a type of flower and not through a bouquet of .JPGs. All of this will be captured in a digital format but expressed in a very mixed media friendly and most definitely Dougie Hayz style.”  Come to the museum and share you memories with Dougie.

Russell's Brewery

William Russell was a contractor and stone mason who settled in Drummondville in 1833. He built a two-storey brick home on Ferry Street, just east of the Portage Road. Russell built his brewery in 1844, adjacent to his home on Ferry Street, and just across the street from the Stamford Township Hall (now the Niagara Falls History Museum). A spring at the rear of Russell's property supplied plentiful spring water which Russell used to brew 20,000 gallons of beer per year.
