• PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO NEWSLETTER NEXT WEEKEND (LABOR DAY WEEK/WEEKEND)
• The Commerce Township Community Library will be CLOSED on Sunday, September 2 and Monday, September 3 in observance of Labor Day. 
• The Commerce Township Offices and Senior Center will be CLOSED on Monday, September 3 for Labor Day.

• Work has begun within Commerce Township’s Dodge Park V on the construction of a third public soccer field. The field’s construction is being funded by the CW3 Soccer Association based on the terms of a License Agreement between CW3 and Commerce Township. The general location of the field was approved as part of the Township’s Parks & Recreation Master Plan adopted in 2006. Every effort was made by Commerce Township and CW3 to identify a location within the park that minimized the impacts to the park’s natural features, including both woodlands and wetlands. CW3 intends to have the field cleared, graded, and seeded in Fall 2018, with the hopes that the grass will be ready to host games by Fall 2019. View the concept plan HERE.

  Commerce Township is working on updating our 5 Year Parks and Recreation Mater Plan and are looking for your input in order to better understand community priorities. The input gathered at the workshop and via the survey will be shared with the Parks Commission and Township Board and used to help inform the goals, objectives and action plan or the next 5 years.
