You did it! You’re here! Welcome to UVM <<First Name>> – we’re stoked you’re a part of our campus. No doubt you’re dealing with a ton of things; from nerves to to-dos – this new community is probably feeling a liiiiiiittle intimidating, eh? Don’t worry. It’s totally normal, and we’re here to help you along the way.
Who are we? UVM BORED, of course (not to be confused with the equally cool UVM Program Board) – a group of students who tirelessly work to help give you the inside track on all the happenings at UVM, in Burlington, and beyond. We don’t want you to be bored (get it?) so we maintain an online calendar (uvmbored.com) with all the fun, exciting, and just-plain-cool on + off campus events happening all year long.

We also sail the social media seas, run a blog, and send weekly emails to ya’ll in an attempt to be a perfect mix of entertaining and helpful guides through your UVM years. Keep your eyes open – we’re know to give away some pretty sweet swag, like concert tickets, backpacks, free coffee, ski tickets, and more

A week from now you’ll be moving to Burlington - an exciting day that kicks off UVM Week of Welcome, and concludes with a killer Comedy Show with Michelle Wolf (!!). If you want to check out the schedule - we’ve got a handy-dandy guide in the UVM Compass app with all the events laid out. You can even add them to your in-app schedule so you don’t forget about them. All the events are also listed on our site at uvmbored.com/wow.
