Keeping you in the loop.....

There are many new guidelines to our program this year. Please review the "Frequently asked Questions" to learn what kind of work qualifies as claimable hours and many other answers to common questions.

As you read through our newsletters you can sign up for work by clicking on a box/button that looks like this:

If both parents are assisting for an event please ensure that you sign both parents in separately on the sign up sheets. This ensure that we get an accurate head count. Thanks!

Parent Fundraising Association (PFA)

Come and be a part of the PFA! The importance of this group is beyond measure as we are responsible for raising important funds to help provide our children with the best educational resources possible. Our immediate target project is our beautiful campus expansion plan that we have all seen around the school and at our local parishes. Join the team and help make this plan a reality for our children NOW!

By joining this team you will become a member of the coolest and influential "movers and shakers "group! Your responsibilities will include attending once a month planning meetings AND taking an active role in executing our two major fundraisers the Fall " Trivia Night” on October 27 and the Spring “Gala” on April 27, 2019. It is a great and noble way to fulfill your parent participation hours.

So, if you have skills in organizing, decorating, crafting, leading others and getting silent auction donations, WE WANT YOU!

I'm your (wo)man to help with the the PFA plan!

POP CAN RECYCLING

Pop cans are picked up once per week at the front entrance of the school. Your job would be to sort the cans, remove any garbage if necessary and return the cans to a depot for a refund. The money can be handed into the school office the following day via your student. If you are interested in this task please sign up.

I am itching to pitch in for recycling

Outside Work Bee

Our next work bee will be held on Sept 15/18 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm

We will be doing yard work so any garden tools, rakes, hedge trimmers, weed whackers, blowers, or lawn mowers that you may have please bring them. Also don't forget your garden gloves and knee pads.

Cleaning the yard isn't hard. Sign me up!

Parking Lot Painting

Due to the rainy day last month we were not able to paint the parking lot lines and gate. We will attempt this again during the work bee on Sept 15/18 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm. If you have some skill in this area we could sure use your help.

I cannot wait to paint! Sign me up

Bakers Group

Baking needs within our school are requested faster than this newsletter is published. If you would like to be placed on the bakers list to receive advanced baking requests so that you are the first to know then please sign up for the "Bakers Club". The baking coordinator Catherine, will contact you via e-mail as needs arise.
