THE FUTURE OF COOK PARK
IS IN THE HANDS OF THE COUNTY Why is this an issue? Cook Park does not make money for the county...it "just" supplies a camping experience for those who choose to rent there. It does not have a trust fund to keep up with repairs and improvements. Chenango County Soil and Water District is willing to commit to $30,000 for three years requiring matching funds from the county. The next opportunity for this discussion is Tuesday, August 21st at 10:00am at the Ag., Buildings and Grounds Meeting. Note: unless you ask to be on the agenda the day before, you will not be allowed to speak at the meeting. CONTACT RC WOODWARD, Clerk of the Board - 337-1430
