Welcome back!  We hope you had a fantastic summer!  It's always exciting to get a new season under way especially when it's our 10th Anniversary Year!  Yes, ABC has been around for ten years and we're not slowing down!  There are some big things to announce and it's not just the awesome talent we have booked.  

This summer we worked to find some new sponsors.  We are pleased to welcome CHCH and Lorne Greenwood Barrister and Solicitor as our new sponsors.

To celebrate our tenth season, this year we will have our 10th Anniversary Compilation CD.  It's a mix of various artists over the last ten years.  20% of the CD sales will go to the Music Counts charity.   Please visit their website.  

    


What great line-ups we have in both locations!  Up first in Hamilton we have Black Eyed Barbie on Saturday, October 13 at 8PM.  Don't let the name fool you, they are not an acoustic metal band.  Black Eyed Barbie is nostalgic, but still fresh, this is solid classic rock with a twist, original material and vocal harmony driven, all played acoustically.   They were featured in the Sound of Music Festival this year and showed high level of musicianship as well as how to entertain an audience.  Don't miss this show because they're coming to bring down the house.  It's going to be an incredible way to kick off the season.  Click on their picture for more details.  Get your tickets now!

Also not to be missed is our season opener in Milton with Frank N Furter and the Sweet Transvestites on Saturday, October 20 at 8PM.  Yes, it's the music from Rocky Horror Picture Show.  They've been featured in Hamilton before and now they are coming to Milton.  If you missed the production in Stratford this year you can catch all the music in Milton.  We encourage everyone to dress up.  The ABC staff will be looking like their favourite characters and we hope you will too!   Prizes will be given out to best costumes.  So come on out to do the "Time Warp", "Over at the Frankenstein Place" and shake your "Hot Patootie" "Once in a While"!  Dancing is also encouraged.  Get your tickets now for this hot event!
 
We offer advance tickets at a discount for both locations and can be purchased by visiting our website http://www.acousticblendcafe.com Hamilton prices have changed.  Now you can get advance tickets for $14, Door tickets for $18 or two for $35.  All treats and drinks are included in the prices.  

Milton prices remain the same, $12 in advance and $15 at the door.   Our Milton location will continue to offer wine, beer and spirits for purchase.
  
Each show begins with an Open Mic.   If you would like to participate in future Open Mics please email acousticblendcafe@gmail.com or call/text 416-565-9490.  Performers will have three songs or fifteen minutes, whichever comes first.  We appreciate the courage of these performers and waive their admission fee.  Don't be shy! We encourage everyone from complete beginners to seasoned pros to come out for Open Mic.  Some of our feature performers have been booked through it!

A new year of music lessons in Milton is starting as well.  Lessons offered in piano, guitar, voice and ukulele.  Students will have opportunities to perform at the concerts throughout the year.  Pro-rated equal monthly payments make it easy to budget. Acoustic Blend Cafe is about building community, supporting Canadian talent and businesses, and creating a space for camaraderie and friendship.  We set up both the Hamilton and Milton locations to feel like a big living room with comfortable seating, small tables, table cloths, and candle light with light refreshments.  All shows are very intimate.
