Sports Registrations for Term 4 2018
Term Four is just around the corner and it is filled with some great after school sport options. Once you decide on the sport/s, it may depend on whether your school will have the numbers to fill a team. If they don’t, we will endeavour to make up teams from across the Zone. This is a great chance to mingle and play with children from other schools and, more importantly, a chance to play the sport that they want to play.
Some points to note:
- Places for Squash are limited and it only runs for three weeks for years 4-6.
- Touch Southland are wanting to have more boys and girls teams and less mixed teams following Basketball Southland’s idea. While mixed touch teams are still an option, the thinking is that the girls get more opportunity playing with girls and gain more confidence quickly.
- Year 1 & 2 Girls touch teams are free of charge for Term 4.
- Summer Football costing is determined by team. When we have the numbers per team we will bill accordingly. $300 per team with the recommended 8 players per team would be $37.50 each.
Apart from football, fees need to be paid with the registration to the school office in a named envelope labelled “Term 4 sports fees “ with your child’s name. Alternatively, you can use Internet banking – Myross Bush School 123154-0118275-01. Please label it with the sports you have entered eg “Cycling, Touch and Cricket” and your child’s name.
A paper copy of this notice is coming home today with students and can be filled out then handed into the school office OR you can CLICK HERE and fill it in electronically.
Please have all sports entries into school by Friday 14 September.
