Our meadow flourished in May and June, gradually becoming a tawny savannah as the long sunny days continued. As the hundreds of retreatants enjoyed the outdoors, we can imagine how God delighted in their readiness for light and blessing.
Now that Autumn brings its changes, we hope that you may find some life and support in Manresa's offerings.

An Oasis Day in Autumn

Plan now to take some time out during the autumn by booking for an Oasis Day. These days offer some time of quiet and space.
The days begin with registration at 9:30 am and conclude by 6:00 pm. They take place in an atmosphere of quiet where you
can decide which of the elements on offer are most helpful to you, choosing from reflections, guided prayer and an opportunity to meet with a spiritual director. Mass is celebrated as part of the day.
Book now for a quiet day

The next evening of guided meditation and prayer will be offered from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm on Wednesday 12 September 2018, presenting its opportunity to people on twelve-step programmes to deepen their awareness of themselves as they seek to improve their conscious contact with God “as they understand him.”

Movies that Matter will return in October with a new selection of films.
Each month, a film will be preceded by a brief introduction and afterwards there will be an opportunity to reflect both personally and as a group on the issues and values illustrated.
