Hospitality: growing church in villages by improving your accessibility

This course should be of value to rural churches with a lack of practical facilities but a desire to draw people in through social engagement. Alan Jeans will share good practice, and Peter Ostli-East will share first-hand experience of putting in water and a toilet in his village church. Salisbury Law Courts Café

Avon Valley Choral Society is a new choral society for the Avon Valley area, meeting Thursdays at Amesbury Methodist Church. If you are interested in singing choral music, please come and join! More info here.

Looking to support a military charity during Remembrance and WW1 commemorations? Founded in 1885, SSAFA is the oldest national charity supporting the three Armed Forces. SSAFA has assisted events at our Cathedral over the last couple of years – pincushions (Nov 2016), Passchendaele (last October) and Living History (this June). Website here

Charity website grants up to £18,000
Courtesy the Transform Foundation’s 2018 Charity Website Grant Programme, which offers charities a grant to redevelop their website to ramp up online income and increase impact.  It has so far helped charities raise more than £10m in donations. Apply here
