We are thrilled to have Katie Dye join our Family Care team in the role of Family Care Specialist! She has a heart for those in need and is especially passionate about loving and serving single moms and their kids! Katie resides in the Champaign/Urbana community with her husband and daughter. In her free time she enjoys baking and crafts. Please help us welcome Katie to the ICM family!
Upcoming Outreach
1. We are excited to be at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Urbana on Sept 8th and 9th to participate in their "Opportunity Fair". St. Patrick's is seeking to raise awareness of local ministries and organizations in Champaign/Urbana where their parishioners may become involved in order to better serve our community!
2. Several staff and volunteers will be participating in various aspects of the Safe Families for Children 15 Year Celebration taking place between Sept. 11-14 in Chicago. Over the last 15 years Safe Families has done 35,000 hosting's for children whose families are in crisis! There are over 25,000 volunteers and 4,500 churches involved in this program that promotes courageous love of families in crisis. Illini Christian Ministries is thrilled to be a part of Safe Families for Children and are so blessed by all our volunteers who help us love and serve families in need!
