Hey Bookworm!

Welcome to my newsletter. I'd love to share my highlights from the past month.

  • Writing - Exclusive Ebooks
  • Reading - Secret Vineyard
  • Life - Green Gift
I've noticed that most of my readers prefer to read ebooks via Kindle, so I've decided to trial all my self-published books in the Kindle Unlimited program.

If you prefer to purchase ebooks from retailers other than Amazon, then make sure you grab yourself a copy of my military-women-themed flash fiction collection, Wife, Mother, Woman, and/or my non-fiction ebook, Narrated by the Author: How to Produce an Audiobook on a Budget, before the end of the month.

If you have a Kindle Unlimited membership, sit tight for a couple of days and you'll be able to read them for free. If you don't have a Kindle Unlimited membership, you can still purchase the ebooks from Amazon.

I totally missed July's newsletter, so here we are at the end of August with two months of reading to choose from.

My favourite recent read would have to be the audiobook edition of The Secret Vineyard by Loretta Hill. I reserved it from the library ages ago and was excited to get the email notification that it was ready to download.

The narrator was fabulous, transporting me to a rundown vineyard in Western Australia. I found myself in a love triangle right alongside the heroine. I loved the combination of Aussie, small town, rockstar, single mother, romance.

I love listening to audiobooks via the Borrowbox app that my local library has a membership with, aswell as my audible subscription. Do you listen to audiobooks?

This week, I booked my flights to Perth for the West Coast Fiction Festival in November. I can't wait to head over to this gorgeous part of Australia again.

This coming Sunday is Father's Day in Australia. The kids and I spent the afternoon in Bunnings (our hardware store home - after buying our own house, we seem to pop into Bunnings more often than the supermarket!)

I totally forgot to buy hubby the new tape measure he asked for, but we did pick up all the things we needed to make a terraruim. I figured an inside garden that's so low maintenance that you can put a lid on it and it can look after itself would be a good plan for our not-so-green-thumbed family.

The original plan of making one for Daddy has turned into making one each. If you want to see how they all turn out, follow my Facebook page and I'll post photos on Sunday afternoon.
If you've read any of my books and have a couple of minutes spare, I'd love it if you wrote a short review on Amazon or Goodreads.
