Something new?
This issue of Knot Notes looks a little different, and we'd like to think it is a step up! We've moved our newsletter to Mailchimp, and plan on keeping to our quarterly publishing schedule. If there is something you'd like us to know about your library, or us, just drop us a line!

New Customers Too!
The eCARD online patron registration and verification system has been launched at King County Library System (WA). Of note, King County Library System is the first site using Evergreen to implement eCARD. Serving the communities of King County (outside the City of Seattle) in Washington State, KCLS currently has 49 libraries and more than 700,000 cardholders.
KCLS is the 26th public library system to join the growing number of eCARD customers across the country. Let us know if you're interested in a demo or price quote!

Anderson Public Library (IN) Invests in Public and Staff Security with PITS
In July, Anderson Public Library went live with Quipu Group's PITS, a patron incident tracking system which allows staff to create online incident reports to assist in the management of disruptive patrons in a secure web-based application. During training, their staff entered dozens of past incident reports which helped them quickly learn how to use the system and launch PITS to the rest of the staff in record time. Their implementation was FAST - one month from start to finish!
