Music Ministry Workshop

We are excited to announce that we will be having our 2018 Music Ministry Workshop on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at St. Matthew's Jubilee Hall!

What is a 'music ministry' workshop, you may ask? Simply put, it's an opportunity for you to learn an instrument of your choice and grow in your understanding in how music plays a part in our Catholic faith, as well as the culture of worship: what is it, why we worship, and how we are called to worship!

DISCLAIMER: You do NOT need to know or have any musical background to take part in this event or have served for music ministry in the past! The purpose of this event is to discover the hidden talents we may possess, and use such talents to glorify Him in the future!

Please fill out the registration form and bring $5 with you on the day of the event!

Evening of Adoration, Praise & Worship

Saturday Sept. 8 7:30 - 9:30pm @ Church

You, Your Whole Family & Your Friends are invited! Adoration is where the holy Eucharist is exposed on the altar for all to adore. It is where you are face to face with our saviour. You are free to visit reconciliation, pray, reflect and sing.

Your presence will be a great testimony for our retreat's participants to see the rest of the youth in our parish. Everyone is encouraged to bring a friend and join us after for a social until 9:30pm.

Share Jesus: BE A CATECHIST

The goal of PREP is to assist parents in the religious education of children attending public schools in Kindergarten to Grade 7 and to prepare them to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist in Grade 2 and Confirmation in Grade 7.

At St. Matthew's, PREP is looking for young people to be Catechists, assistants and group leaders!
