Thank You  Aktion Club

The Rock Mountain Partners Aktion Club that is sponsored by Arvada Jefferson Kiwanis Club took on the job of packing Sweet Dream Mom's Mugs.  Each mug has a packet of Bigalow Sweet Dream Tea and is packed in a plastic bag, tied with a ribbon and has an encouraging message attached.  Each Mom, of the children we serve, is given a "Sweet Dream Tea Mug".  The dads get a "Man Mug" that has Starbuck's instant coffee packet inside their mug and also packed beautifully and with a little message attached! 
The Kiwanis Aktion Clubs draw members from various organizations that support individuals with disabilities. Sweet Dream is so thankful for these wonderful young adults that want to help! Thank you Rock Mountain Partners Aktion Club, you did a great job!!

Go to: www.Sweetdreaminabag.org and sign up in the "VOLUNTEER" area for each event you plan on attending.

Sweet Dream continues to offer opportunities for volunteers at each "GIFTING EVENT".  Look over your calendar and see when you can come.  Gifting Events and Pack & Pray Events can be a invitation for families and friends. Talk with your kids, grand kids and friends and share with them the experience in the joy of giving, helping and volunteering.  It will be something they will remember for a lifetime!  
Sweet Dream is so excited that so many people are willing to help at our once a month "PACK & PRAY EVENTS".  We are trying to find a way to make sure everyone that wants to participate will have a table for packing. Please sign-up on the web-site. Be sure to mark the number of people coming and the number of tables needed.  If you bring a group, please limit it to 10-12 people for each event.  Many of you have helped for years and we so appreciate you volunteering.  Signing  up helps us better plan for each Pack & Pray event.  When you sign-up we will reserve you table(s) for packing.  Sweet Dream always provides a light lunch after we are done packing and all are welcome to stay and enjoy the lunch and time with old and new friends!

Does you work have a grant program?

Recently a supporter of Sweet Dream contacted her HR department and found they have a Philanthropic Grants.  She recommended Sweet Dream for a grant. Sweet Dream then applied and received a very generous grant that will help in purchasing new bedding this Fall, as sales are in full swing!  Lots of children will be blessed.  Might be worth checking with your employer!
