The Bank Holiday draws to a close and we've seen a typical example of the sneaky English weather! After all of the lovely tropcal weather we've had since the Spring, of course Bank Holiday's the time for torrential rain. Not a problem for our guests - DVD film catch-up time! However it has been a real shame for the Watchet Festival which has grown into a big open air event with outdoor stage and camping etc. Friday's and Saturday's weather was brilliant but yesterday was not good at all. Still they soldiered on and all reports we're heard seem to suggest a great time was had by all.
We've just updated our rates and availability, both for the remainder of 2018 and for 2019. Pop over to our website to see.
We've got weeks available later in September and through October if you want to catch the end of Summer or start of Autumn, depending on how it all unfolds.
In 2019 we've added some optional short breaks before Easter, tailored to the Spring Harvest teaching and worship event held at Butlins. There are 2 sessions and they start and finish on odd days for us so we've broken the 2 weeks starting the 5th of April into 3 shorter sessions, a long weekend and then the 2 Spring Harvest breaks. Good Friday is the 19th of April and we're back to normal weekly bookings then.
We're still open to normal bookings for the weeks before Easter if you'd prefer to come for the week - flats 1 and 3 are still available. It's first come first served!
I've tried to make it as clear as possible on our tariff but if you've got any questions don't hesitae to drop us an email or phone on 01643 704958.
If you prefer, you can download the tariff sheets to your computer or device by clicking:
In the last Newsletter, I mentioned that there are moves afoot for the improvement of Minehead's seafront and the branding of the town and area to potential visitors.
