It was wonderful to enter into the Page Walker Art and History Center to see our art on it's wall after spending a year and a half planing for this exhibition. This exhibit reflects the spirits of artists Debbie Herbst, Shirley Perryman, Mary Ritter, and myself.
I sometimes fail to remember that putting up an exhibit is very time consuming, and even more so when coming from out of town. So many little things that needed to be done, and so many of you helped in making it happened. I am so thankful to the Hiser's for all the assistance they gave with this exhibition. To Chris Edwards for the framing help, Kris Carmichael for her artistic advise in hanging of the art, and to Debbie and Lee Herbst for letting me use their home to store my art, and use their computer to finish my tags.
Also, thank you all who came to the exhibition, and to those who attended the reception it was wonderful seeing you. I have to say, I was a bit overwhelm with joy in seeing so many of you appreciating the fruit of our labor, that at times I was lost for words "literally."
In less than two days this exhibition will end, and as a flower looses it blooms, these wall will also release our art. If you have not had the chance to see it. I hope you stop by enjoy the beauty of the creative spirit.
I am grateful for all who I saw while I was in North Carolina. I which I could have had more time with you, but your kindness shall be in my heart always.

They have challenged themselves to depict organic and inorganic in their fabric art.
