From our Pastors...
Now that the Summer is beginning to come to a close, we look with anticipation to the Autumn. As we move into what may feel like a new phase in the life of this church we believe that this is really a return to what God placed in our hearts as we first moved to Coventry twenty years ago: To make disciples who make disciples and to transform our neighbourhoods.

This Autumn we will take on a 1:3 Rhythm for Sunday Morning. Once a month you will find church out in the community. This is not a Sunday off, but a Sunday out!  We (all of us who make up Coventry Vineyard) will be taking church out into our neighbourhoods; engaging with our local community together; building authentic relationships, sowing seeds of the kingdom by sacrificially serving and expressing God’s love in practical ways.

For the other three Sundays a month we will gather at Sidney Stringer Academy for our corporate celebratory gathering. For four weeks from September 9th we will be meeting in the cafe area of Sidney Stringer Academy rather than the theatre in order to build on our identity as community. As you come to worship on a Sunday, please gather with an expectation to experience God's presence and contribute to our life as church together. During this time the talks will be focusing on four key moments in the book of Luke, when the Kingdom broke in and lives (and communities) were changed.

In other news...
Life Groups are an essential part of church life. This is where we do life together and bring life to our neighbourhoods.

They help you to take steps in your spiritual journey, whether you are just starting to explore faith or wanting to go deeper. In Life Group you will find others to support you in your journey.   Sign up from 2nd September [here].
We are committed to encouraging people to be disciples who make disciples, equipping them to live lives as followers of Jesus and helping them express the love of God to those around them.

Our Journey Groups are one-to-one groups designed for those who have made the decision to go deeper in their spiritual growth, forming habits that help them to become more like Jesus and sharing Him with others. Click here for details and to sign up

Once a month we gather as a church to simply seek the Father's presence.

Join us at 1 Mill Street [7-10pm] to pray, worship and together Seek Him on Friday 7th September. For future dates click [here].

During our time together we also want to learn and develop spiritual exercises for the journey. To work with the Holy Spirit in developing habits and practices that keep us connected with Him as we live out this life of following Jesus.

28th-30th September is National Prayer Weekend.

This is an ideal opportunity for us to pray for and in our local areas - reflecting our vision for our neighbourhoods.

There are free resources available (e.g. prayer request cards to hand out to our neighbours) if you would like to get involved. These can be downloaded from the National Prayer Weekend website.

If you plan to get involved, please speak with Jo Burton.
She would love to support you any way she is able.

It would be great to hear your stories!
