Gearing up for IRONMAN Maryland Sept. 29

One of the world’s most grueling endurance events comes to Dorchester County on Sept. 29. That’s right, it’s time for IRONMAN Maryland, a 140.6-mile triathlon, with 2,000 athletes coming from all around the world! Get a close-up view of the action by volunteering during the days before or on race day — a whopping 1,400 volunteers are needed! Volunteer here. Also, if you live in Dorchester, consider renting out a room or your whole house during race week to athletes by listing your house on Airbnb. On race day Sept. 29, spectators are welcome to cheer on these inspiring athletes. Here are the best places to watch. Show your support by joining IRONClub Maryland!
