We hope everyone is enjoying the hot summer we've been treated to! According this year’s Farmer’s Almanac, Canadians are being warned to brace for a winter that will be nasty, brutish and not at all short.

Volunteers Needed

Signs are popping up all over the village and the coming municipal election is becoming a hot topic. Great to see people involved, but it’s had an impact on your Village Community Association (VCA). We have lost the VCA President as he campaigns for a councilor position. And then our Vice-President resigned this month as the position became much more demanding than time allowed. So we are running to keep up! And we need your help. All willing volunteers are warming welcomed!

Community Survey

To help us determine priorities, we will be developing a community survey to ask for your input in September. We will then review and provide the results at the General meeting in October. Expect the survey in the next few weeks. We will be asking for one set of responses from each household in the Village. Yes – VCA Members and Non-Members will be included in the survey.

Hold the Date

The General Meeting will be Tuesday, October 16 at 7 pm.
The Community Center Auditorium has been booked. Please plan to attend.
