Dear Friend:

Our final Sunday worship of the summer will take place this Sunday, September 2, at 11:15 .  As is our custom, the service will be led by the Bishop of New York, Rt. Rev. Andrew ML Dietsche.  Immediately following the service, there will be a potluck lunch on the church grounds.  Please bring a dish for the lunch.  If you need guidance on what to bring, contact ruth@cragsmoor.net.

At the conclusion of the lunch, we will hold the annual meeting of the Friends of the Stone Church.  We will review the events of the past year and talk about exciting future events.

One additional note:  our Winter Dialogues will begin on Sunday, September 23, at 11:15.  The theme this year will be "Service and Sacrifice," and we will focus each session on an individual who embodied those qualities.  The first session will be on Albert Schweitzer and will be led by Lucy Muller.  The location will be announced at the annual meeting.
