Hi Los Gatos ToastMasters!

  Welcome to our weekly email blast. We ended our summer series of outdoor meetings comfortably sitting on some adirondacks. The venue made for a challenge for the speakers to use their outdoor voices and move around. This summer we also met at: Old Towne Ampitheater, Oak Grove Bandstand, Pangeant Park. We were loving getting out of the classroom!

  The above awesome photo was taken at Campo di Bocce during our Get-Together this past Saturday. It was a chance to network and enjoy another Los Gatos treasured location.

Sept 4, NO Meeting. Enjoy the Labor Day holiday!
Sept 8, Saturday, 5-7pm. Hike nearby Mt. Umunhum. This historic park has recently been renovated which should provide some soul-enriching views!
Sept 18, Tuesday, Meeting Location Change. TBD
Oct, TBD, thinking about a group volunteer activity. Let us know if you have ideas!

Club News

  It's club dues time! Please help us reach our goals by getting yours in early.

 This past week we had a full house with lots of guests. Ken did another fine job as ToastMaster and we had a social speech by Eddie titled "Why Los Gatos ToastMasters" and Chris gave a nice one about Leadership.

 This Tuesday Sept 4th we have no meeting. Please sign up for a role the following meetings on our project management app Trello. Just click the button on this email.

 Start thinking about your personal goals for your club experience. We will start asking for these to help everybody focus on what is important to themselves.
