"A Giving Church" Sermon Series
Bro. Shawn will be leading us through a sermon series entitled "A Giving Church" for the next several weeks. We believe the journey of faith is a call to giving. At Wilmont, we are learning to abandon the religious consumer-minded culture so we can give our lives in service to God.

Thursday, September 6   Evangelism Tune-Up Conference
The Capital Baptist Association is hosting this event at Bryant Ave. Baptist Church from 5:45-9:15 pm. Mike Napier, BGCO Evangelism Specialist, will be the guest speaker. There is no cost to participate, however reservations must be made by Thursday, Aug. 30 for a meal catered by Swadley's BBQ. Call Julie Erwin at the CBA office for reservations, 405.942.0244.

Music Ministry Survey
Surveys are available at the Information Center just outside of the Fellowship Hall. All members are encouraged to stop by and pick up their copy. They will be available before and after services through Sunday, Sept. 9, which is the deadline to turn in your survey.

Baskets for our Homebound Ministry
Our Homebound Ministry workers are gearing up for fall and need more baskets for the fruit and bread baskets they prepare and deliver to our homebound. If you have any to donate, please drop them off in the office.

Secret Sisters/Widow's Program
Emily Folsom is gearing up for the next round of the Secret Sisters/Widow's program. If you would like to participate as a secret sister to one of our widows or if you are a widow and would like to participate, sign up at the Information Center. Please be willing to be 100% committed! Contact Emily through the church office.
