Grade-level News

Fifth Grade

The 5th grade team is excited to welcome the incoming fifth graders.  Wednesday, September 5th will be a wonderful day where students will get a chance to practice their locks, tour the building a bit, do some rotations where we will go over our middle school expectations, and be able to get some time to run around and play on the middle school playground.  Additionally, we will go over their schedules and help them get prepared for Thursday at which time they will follow their normal schedule for the day.

Seventh Grade

The 7th grade team is excited to kick off the year!! Save the date for the Open House on Thursday September 20th at 6pm. This is an opportunity for parents to meet the teachers, see the classroom space your kids spend their time in and learn about their day.

Your child has an invitation in their school email to join the Google Classroom for Math 7 or pre-Algebra. They may also join using the class code ytwznga for pre-Algebra or cy7ayy for Math 7.  View our math classroom website to learn more about what to expect this year.

Media Literacy is on the schedule again this year. Students will see Ms. Brisson on B days to explore tech tools, learn about digital citizenship, and tackle some project based learning experiences. On A days, students will see Mrs. Starkweather for our new class, CSforAll. This computer science class will involve coding, problem-solving, and design thinking.

Eighth Grade

The 8th grade team looks forward to meeting our new students (the class of 2023!!) on Wednesday, and we hope to meet parents at the upcoming Open House on Thursday, September 20 at 6pm.
