🍂 Don't FALL down 🍂

The first day of fall is almost here and has me thinking about all of the clients I've worked with who feel they are failing as a mom, a partner, a friend, a person - basically falling down the parenting black hole. I always ask my clients, "Give me five examples in five minutes of situations where you've failed." 99% of the time no one can do this! Why? Because, in reality, they aren't truly failing anyone - but they ARE feeling lost in their day-to-day life. When we make a conscious decision to put our needs first, this makes us better moms! Why? Because when we are happy and fulfilled our children's crying, whining, and bossiness doesn't bug the sh$t out of us and we don't lose our cool and yell at our kids or our partners... and don't feel like craptastic people. Starting this month I beg you to concentrate on finding your happiness and be ⬆️and not ⬇️ and you'll show your kids how to be happy, too.

Love,
Eirene

GIT Tip: Start thinking about your child's Halloween costume, and once a decision is made it stays. Don't be a wishy washy mom; stand strong if your child wavers.
