WCS War Requiem Rehearsal Tuesday 4th September - Correction
I am sorry and embarrassed in equal measure to tell you that, at the Rehearsal yesterday, I wrongly announced that the next rehearsal on Tuesday 4th September would be held at Kyson School. This was a mistake and this rehearsal will be held, as before, at the Methodist Church. For those of you who might not have seen the original newsletter with the rehearsal dates, here they are below.

The Woodbridge Methodist Church (IP12 1ED) is in St John’s Street on the corner. There are one or two on-street parking opportunities (if you are lucky). Nearby is Oak Lane car park (IP12 1AA) but unfortunately this is a short stay car park with a maximum of 2 hours. Hamblin Road Car Park (IP12 1BG) is the nearest after this and is a long stay car park. Station Road long stay car park (IP12 4AU) is a little further away. There is limited parking at the Church, strictly for those with mobility issues.
Kyson Primary School, Peterhouse Crescent, Woodbridge Suffolk IP12 4HX is the venue for our regular weekly rehearsals. There is plenty of space for parking through the gate in the school car park and we are asked not to park on the nearby roads.
Wickham Market Primary School, Dallinghoo Road, Wickham Market, Woodbridge
IP13 0RP is the venue for our pre-concert rehearsal with orchestra. The gates will be open for the main car park at the school.
Our Librarian,William, still has 14 of the larger Vocal Scores to lend out. These will be available on a first come, first served basis between 7 pm and 7.15 pm on the 4th..
For those of you who are non-regular members joining us for the War Requiem concert, you will not be aware that on Monday evening the 17th September at Kyson School, the Society is holding its AGM which will be preceded by an hour's vocal training session by Claire Weston which will begin at 7.15 pm. If you managed to get to our rehearsal yesterday you will know that this is a fantastic opportunity to benefit from Claire Weston's amazing vocal expertise, boundless enthusiasm and choral training experience. The AGM part of the evening is expected to finish no later than 8.45 pm, followed by drinks and nibbles until 9.15 pm.
