So how much clay was it?
You may recall that we challenged you all to guess how much clay would leave our doors in August.
225,000# of prepared clay
100,000# of dry raw materials
325,000# total of items sold by weight

If you add the total weight of all products that left our building in August (inculding glazes, tools, and equipment) .........

We sent out 3.5 MILLION pounds of "stuff"

NEWS FLASH!!!!
Our delivery calendar is still churning like crazy with daily deliveries to all over the place.  We are generally booked for deliveries about 2 weeks out.  We have a separate list for folks that want to get regular updates with our delivery schedule.  This short, sweet email usually goes out about twice a month.  Right now, it's a little more frequent, and in the slower times, it might be a little less frequent.  If you don't already subscribe to those emails, you can do that here

MKM Tools 20% off!

All MKM stamps are cut with cutting blades that leave a bevel for all the lines and patterns. So when the MKM stamp pulls away from the clay, or the roller is rolled over the clay, the MKM tool releases perfectly without pulling up any edges.

RICHARD AERNI

January 19th and 20th, 2019 --  9am to 5pm each day

(no Videography) out of respect for the presenter

Cost: $200.00 per person, BYOL&B (bring your own lunch and beverage)

Two day demo workshop

Richard will demonstrate his method of making production and gallery oriented pots using sectional throwing utilizing bisque and plaster forms on the wheel. This method encourages the thrower to grow the work in scale and to develop more complex forms. Richard will also show attendees how to make and use their own bisque forms for wheelwork.

Throughout the workshop, Richard will be talking about his approach to glazing, using slips, stoneware glazes and wood ash glazes to develop subtle surfaces that bring about a sense of harmony and the environment around us. He is currently working with these methods at both cone 6 oxidation and cone 10 reduction.

Handouts will be given which contain glaze recipes and techniques.
