The Adventure Continues

It's a brand New Year and it looks like this year is going by faster than last year.  Still, we work to help our missionaries on the field do the work to which they've been called. Some are church planters. Some work with unreached and unengaged people groups. Some work among the deaf in developing countries, Some work in countries where it is illegal to have Bibles or preach the Gospel.  Some are less challenging, yet just as important, ministries.

It is our hope that you will be part of our network. That you will either pray, send or go, because no-one can do it alone. A threefold cord is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12).

Since we joined GlobalGrace Fellowship, security for us and our people on the field has become more of an issue. Just recently, we had two couples arrested because they dared to share the love of Christ.  As of this writing, one couple is still undergoing interrogation. The first couple was deported, and we expect the same to happen to the second couple.

This effects even our newsletter.  You will no longer see our projected schedule as in the past. We don't want to alert the wrong people that we are going to be in their country visiting missionaries. However, we will still show pictures of where we've been. While we're at it, if you are ever interested in visiting one of our field sites with Jose or both of us, let us know, and we can explain the details.

After Sandy's sister passed away, we decided to take a break and go to Puerto Rico with one of our sons and his wife. It was a good time of reconnecting with extended family and seeing  places where we used to live.

Enjoy the pictures.

On Call for God,
Jose & Sandy

Yours truly in a Christmas picture at Church.

Welcome to Rodriguez Airways. Would you believe that this is the airplane we flew in to Puerto Rico? If so, I have some underwater land to sell you. ;-)
The happy foursome spending way too much time in a rental car in Puerto Rico. That's our son, David, and his wife, Claire. David was born in PR. We were there in part to show him some of his history.
These are some of our GGF workers in Europe.
