Village Employees Donate School Supplies
As part of the Village of Bellevue's Wellness program, employees recently held a school supply drive to support the Back To School Store. Through the months of June and July employees were encouraged to purchase and donate school supplies to be donated to the Back To School Store on August 3rd.
All departments and some of the general public participated which totaled:
19 folders
11 boxes of crayons
2 scissors
12 erasers
2 boxes of markers
25 packages of dry erase markers
30 packages of pencils
20 bottles of glue
4 notebooks
46 glue sticks
8 rulers
28 packs of sticky notes
2 packs of pens
This is the first time the employees conducted a school supply drive and plan to do so again in the future.
