We are delighted to invite you to take part in the upcoming Future Precincts Seminar to learn, engage and share knowledge on the complexities of precinct development strategies and implementation.

Tuesday 23rd October
Younghusband, Melbourne

This one-day event includes two separately bookable forums:

Part 1: Future Precincts: how do we achieve social and environmental outcomes?

The morning seminar will address the role of precincts developments in driving our cities liveability. We will discuss current strategies, best practice and challenges for sustainable urban design and delivery.

Part 2: From certification to implementation: Green Star Communities in practice

The session will provide a key platform for project team representatives to share their expertise, strategies and comments on the various stages of a project, from certification to implementation and recertification. A great opportunity for industry members interested in the communities rating tool to hear more about projects and for GBCA Green Star Communities practitioners to share learnings and network. This afternoon session is complimentary for our Communities Green Star Accredited Professionals*.

You will hear and discuss with key industry experts, including:
  • Laura Murray, Victorian President, Planning Institute of Australia
  • Stuart Moseley, Chief Executive Officer, Victorian Planning Authority
  • Dr Judy Bush, The University of Melbourne
