Ready for a SUPER Year!

It's our first official newsletter for the new school year and you might notice that it looks a little different! I'm excited about the change and hope you are too! Each month you will receive the newsletter in your email inbox. If all goes well, I will also upload a PDF version of it on the website in case you miss the email, as well as have a backup inside My Music Staff.

I am really excited for our new A.N.T.H.E.M. program this year and hope you are too! Don't forget: Students must mark their practicing inside their assignment book each week in order to progress in the program. If you have any questions about anything, just let me know!

1st: Tuition and optional event fees due ($15 late fee applies after 3 day grace period)
11-13th: Mastermind Week (Students will partner up during their lesson hour, sharing practiced pieces with each other and playing theory games to keep our musical minds sharp).

9th-11th: Fall break (no lessons)
20th: Halloween Festival (time TBA)
29th-30th: Bonus Group Lessons (no regular lessons this week)

When was the last time you tuned your piano?

If it was over a year ago- it’s time for a tuning! Just like it’s important to have regular oil changes in your car, it is important to have regular tunings on your piano. I highly recommend my piano tuner/technician, David Higgins.

SUPER STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Congratulations to Peyton aka "ElastiGirl"

Over the summer Peyton rocked her practicing on Piano Maestro! Every time I turned I saw that she was learning something new.
Way to go!
Peyton loves to sing "all the time". Her favorite musical is the Greatest Showman. Her favorite thing about learning music is getting better and better and this year she would like to learn harder pieces. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite subject is math.

You can probably guess who her favorite superhero is. ElastiGirl of course! Peyton is off to a super start to the school year! Keep it up!
