A new proposal for a loyalty card is currently being explored by local business woman Caz Wales. The Thame Rewards Club will provide a central local online platform to showcase and advertise local independent businesses and services within a 5-mile radius of Thame. The aim is to boost business visibility, connecting local businesses with more local customers; encourage the community to embrace local independent businesses/services rather than travelling out of the town to larger towns/cities or using large high street brands/chains; and bring together local businesses on a website, which will enable local businesses to better work. Businesses will be able to promote themselves on an 'Offers' page by providing tailor made rewards and incentives; personalised monthly newsletters will be sent to customers, alongside advertising on social media.
To find out more / give your views come along to the next Town Centre Business Forum. 13 September - 5.30pm - Upper Chamber, Town Hall.
