Learn Burlesque at the BHoF School of Striptease

Classes take place inside The Burlesque Hall of Fame's Bawdy Shop Studio every Wednesday from 6:30pm-7:30pm. We welcome the hobbyist, the novice, and established performers of all levels and body types.

And join us the first Friday of each month during the First Friday Art Festival for our "Burlesque Basics" mini-classics!

Burlesque Basics (only available during First Fridays)– $5
1st class: 7:30PM-7:45PM
2nd class: 8:30PM-8:45PM

Learn signature burlesque moves used by stars of the past and present! This 15 minute introductory class, only available during First Fridays, will show you how to shimmy, bump & grind in our Bawdy Shop Studio.

Museum Day

Museum Day is a one-day event in which participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. Participants are allowed to download one ticket per email address. The ticket provides free general admission on Saturday, September 22, 2018, for two people. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to visit our space here.

Costumes in our latest exhibit, “Curves Ahead” generously loaned by Dita Von Teese are now on display! Our volunteers not only were able to see these exquisite costume pieces up close but also had a chance to meet Dita as she oversaw the exhibit’s installation!

If you have completed your training, please sign up for available docent or front desk shifts. We especially need docents for Museum Day on Saturday, September 22nd. We are also looking for the following:

First Friday volunteers
Office work, File sorting
New docents! We will train you!
