Two Glockenspiels Are Better Than One
 The Cleveland Oktoberfest is excited to announce that Toledo Holzhacker Buam, who built the first glockenspiel in Ohio, will again be performing on the largest glockenspiel stage in the country... the Cleveland Glockenspiel! If you haven't yet seen their rendition of Der Fliegerlied, or their sing-along version of Sweet Caroline, you're in for a treat, so don't miss Toledo Holzhacker Buam when they take to the Cleveland Glockenspiel stage at the 2018 Cleveland Oktoberfest. And don't forget, Austrian dance group, Tanz Und Spielkreis will again be tending bar under the glockenspiel, so be sure to stop by for one of our signature flag shots or Ice Kühl Jägermeister.
Since two glockenspiels are always better than one, we're likewise thrilled to again be hosting the first glockenspiel ever constructed in the United States. Coming in all the way from Wisconsin, please be sure to give a warm Cleveland welcome to the Milwaukee Glockenspiel!
It's All About Da Bier
"Not all chemicals are bad," observed noted journalist, Dave Barry. "Without chemicals such as hydrogen and oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water... a vital ingredient in beer." With that, we offer a special thank you to hydrogen and oxygen. You may now close your periodic tables; the rest of the elements are of no real consequence. After all, what would Oktoberfest be without great German Bier? ...Nachtsoberfest? Fortunately, that's not our concern, as Cleveland Oktoberfest features some of the best bier in the world. Paulaner, our title sponsor and one of the big six breweries at the Munich Oktoberfest, will have six different styles on tap, including their famous Oktoberfest Märzen--the most popular bier at the Munich Oktoberfest! Hacker Pschorr--another of the big six at Munich--will be on hand as well, serving up their Dunkel and Oktoberfest. And if that weren't enough, 16 micro brewers will also be in attendance, pouring over 60 flavors of bier. Is this heaven? No... it's Cleveland.

5K Run Benefiting Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital

Online registration will close Sun, Sept 2, 2018 at 9AM. Participants who dress up in German attire will receive one (1) additional FREE admission. Proceeds from the 2018 5k Run will benefit Rainbow Babies & Childrens Hospital. Show your race bib at the Eastland Rd entrance and receive one FREE same day admission to Oktoberfest. Participants will also receive an acrylic Mini Stein (21 and older ONLY), a Goody Bag courtesy of Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care, and a race T-Shirt.
 Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female runners, as well as men & women's age groups from 14 & under through 70 & over. Age Class winners 20 and over will receive a Commemorative Ceramic Mug (pictured), while Age Class winners 19 and under will receive a medal.
